How a rental reservation works
A two-hour jet ski rental is not free at 12:01 if the 10 a.m. guest is still on the water. Buffers belong in the calendar, not in someone’s head.
Hold a deposit. Remaining balance before they leave the dock. Damage policy lives with the waiver and the rental terms — not a sticky note on the register.
Kayaks are often a count. A specific boat is a unique asset. Both are first-class inventory in Slipstack; they are not the same rule.
Guests should not call to ask if the yellow ski is open. Live availability is the product.
