Who
Slipstack. We design the website and stand up booking, Stripe, waivers, and ops for 1–10 boat rental and charter shops. Live examples: Boat Bros ATX (Lake Austin) and Nasty Sport Fishing (Cabo San Lucas).
Boat rental software
Slipstack is a boat rental platform — the operator's website, booking, payments, waivers, and scheduling — not a third-party widget dropped onto a brochure. We launch it for live shops: Boat Bros ATX on Lake Austin and Nasty Sport Fishing in Cabo. Most shops still run those pieces as five logins. Slipstack is one system: inventory, checkout, Stripe, waivers, and the board your crew actually uses. Booking and the custom website are the same product — not a widget bolted onto a brochure.

Who, how, why
Slipstack. We design the website and stand up booking, Stripe, waivers, and ops for 1–10 boat rental and charter shops. Live examples: Boat Bros ATX (Lake Austin) and Nasty Sport Fishing (Cabo San Lucas).
You send the launch brief, we build the front end from the operator’s photography and rates, migrate what’s already booked, test a real card in their Stripe, then flip the booking link — 2–3 days after you send the launch brief. The 4× revenue / 200+ trips / 500+ waivers figures are Boat Bros ATX’s season on Slipstack, not a survey.
Operators looking for boat rental software need the whole stack — site, calendar, money, waivers — not a widget brochure. This page is that product. Booking checkout lives on the booking page; the custom site lives on the websites page.
What it replaces
Operators do not have a software problem. They have a stack problem. Slipstack is the operating layer so the guest only ever sees Book on your domain.
01
A brochure site with a book button that dumps guests into someone else’s checkout.
02
Percentage-based reservation software that grows more expensive every good month.
03
A middleman on the money, or a Square reader taped to a spreadsheet.
04
A second vendor, a second login, and PDFs that do not file against the booking.
05
Email, reviews, guest list, and the calendar the dock actually runs — usually four more tabs.
Booking and money
Live availability. A ten-minute hold while the guest pays. 50% deposit, pay in full, or a supported installment method. The balance charges before the trip. Money lands in your Stripe — Slipstack takes 0% of the charter. Card processing is still Stripe’s fee, on your merchant account. Deposits vs pay later.
Fleet and trip operations
Charters, ticketed seats, holds, and blocks in one view. A full-day trip takes the afternoon off the board so you do not double-book the hull. Guest list, email templates, and review follow-up sit in the same login as the booking — not a clipboard in the office.
01
We design the front end for your brand — homepage, boats, trips, SEO pages — on your domain. Not a template. Not a marketplace skin.
02
Live availability, deposits, remaining balance, and Stripe in your account. Supported installment methods (Affirm/Klarna) when the lender allows it. Slipstack takes 0% of the trip.
03
E-signed before the dock, filed on the booking. QR, walk-up, and kiosk. Not a second vendor and not a second bill.
04
Calendar, guest list, email templates, and review requests. One login for the crew — charters, ticketed seats, holds, and marketplace-ingested trips in the same day.
Waivers
The signing link goes out with the receipt. Reminders fire automatically. Walk-ups scan a QR. Signed PDFs live on the reservation — not in a second product you pay for on top of a 6% cut.
Customer ownership
Direct checkout lands in your own Stripe account. Marketplace payouts stay theirs — Slipstack splits the books so you can see both. We never hold your funds and never take a cut.
Your own database, in your own account — leads, repeat, lapsed, exportable. Not a row in a marketplace.
Your domain, logo, and photos. We design the site around them — not a template. No marketplace branding on checkout, ever. Keep the listings as channels.
The site is part of the software
We design the front end for your brand — boats, trips, photography, domain. Guests book there. The inventory they see is the same board the crew runs.
Flat-fee economics
A $1,200 charter does not send 6% of the booking to Slipstack. FareHarbor is about 6% per booking on our pages; Peek Pro 6–8% online — approximate, and they grow when you do. Slipstack is a published monthly number. Processing fees are Stripe’s, on your account.
Live operator · Lake Austin · Boat Bros ATX
Production data from Boat Bros ATX, a Slipstack shop on Lake Austin: about 4× last year’s website revenue this season, with 200+ trips booked online. A 6% cut on that volume would have cost more than Slipstack. Not a survey and not a forecast for your lake.
4×

500+

How implementation works
You send the launch brief. We design the site, migrate what is already booked, test a real card, then flip the link. How launch works, step by step.
You
Trips, rates, boats, seasons, deposit rules, installment checkout, and waiver language — about 15 minutes in the portal. Not a blank DIY builder.
Day 1
We design the front end from your brand and photos, load inventory, and stand up accounts.
Day 2–3
Migrate bookings already on the books, test payments with you, flip the booking link, and train the crew.
